I think I'll start with my goals first:

1. Keep a food diary each day.
2. Exercise 4 times.

Week 3 results were a bit of a fizzer.

My success was: 2 alcohol free days and I did walk/run 3 x and get out and do some line dancing.
BUT, I didn't swim.  I did 6 days wheat/bread free breakfast and one day with white bread toast and butter.
AND I gained back a kilo.  Ho HUM.

SO, this is why I have decided to do my food diary for week 4.  Maybe I am not being as good as I think....

Post your goals below for week 4 and share your results too - they can't be worse than mine!!!

Oh gosh the weeks go by so quickly!!

Well I am keeping up with the walking, week three I managed the increased distance of 6.5km.
That's great, but I have sore legs  Smiley

Week four....I will stick with the 6.5km, and add some hand weights.

A food diary would be good for me too. I've noticed that I'm eating more.

My week 3 fizzled out too - I only walked twice during the week, however, I did manage to drink heaps of water. I lost 300gm which is much better than I thought. I was totally convinced I had put weight on.

My week 4 goals are going to be totally different. I definitely want to increase my walking so I'm going to use a pedometer - therefore my week 4 goals are as follows:

Achieve 5000 steps each day (to stay healthy it should be 10,000 per day)
Drink 1L water per day
Eat no lollies (man that's going to be really really hard especially with crop this week)

I've already started my goals for this week and will let you all know how I get on next week.

good luck for your goals everyone.

Jean and I have been doing really well with our walking. We are walking at least an hour and covering bigger distances. We are finding more and more beautiful bush tracks around the village!

Aims for Week 4
Keep up the walking.

My life is too hectic for words at the moment. I can't seem to stick at anything that's good for me. I only went for one walk last week - admittedly it was for 1.5 hours at 4 p.m. in the afternoon. I thought it was such a good idea at the time, but boy, I was absolutely shattered and soooooooooooooo hot by the time I got home.

My weight hasn't changed at all this week, which is sad, but at least I am actually drinking much more water and eating less chocolate bars. I will try and journal what I've done, but am really strugging to find time for scrapbooking anything right now. I'll do my best though Smiley

This week I'll continue with drinking water, eating less junk food and walk as much as I can - at least 2 x 20 minutes a day.

Good luck everyone with your goals Smiley

I can so relate to walking in this awful heat, Ann! I am pretending that the sweat is just from the workload and increased heart rate! Roll Eyes Grin
